Wer mit Marion Richters Arbeit vertraut ist, wird nicht verwundert sein, im monochrom wirkenden Farbauftrag mehr zu entdecken: Pflastersteine, Zäune, Speichen, Spalten, Fliesen, Lamellen, Gitter, Gatter, Netze, Storen, Taue, Äste, Blätter, Fugen, karierte Textilien an Wäscheleinen, Brückengeländer – dazwischen menschliche Figuren und Menschengruppen. Sie alle wenden sich dem Licht entgegen und überziehen ihre Umgebung mit geometrischen Mustern. Mit ihrer Gegenständlichkeit bringen sie Alltag in die gemalte Welt.


In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Künstlerkollegen Chris Bünter ist für diese Ausstellung eine Edition in kleiner Auflage entstanden. Marion Richter gestaltete die Collagen mit dem Bildprogramm aus ihrer Malerei, die im Counter Space zu sehen ist, von Bünter stammt der von ihm handgeschriebene Text. Das Layout jeden Exemplars ist von den beiden individuell gestaltet.
